Wavien is a technology company based in Southern California, specializing in the development of high performance brightness preserving light engines for front projection and the Micro-projector industry.

Wavien is currently looking for a part-time mechanical designer with the ability to create simple drawings, modify and assemble test stations and enclosures as well as other related projects. This is a temporary position.

Requirements:

Experienced in Soildworks designing program

Solder ability up to the board level preferred

Basic knowledge of good electrical build practices in assembly of test boxes and wiring of test stations preferred

Experienced in using electrical test equipment preferred

Knowledge and use of small hand tools with the ability to modify parts as required

Willingness to perform tasks not related to the main job but within the candidates ability
